Marli Salmon could play for Arsenal against Wigan in the FA Cup
Despite his outstanding performance, Salmon was replaced at half-time against Newcastle, which suggests that he will be with the Arsenal first-team against Wigan.
The 16-year-old was involved in a senior training session on Saturday too, alongside Max Dowman, who has returned from injury.
It’s unlikely that either player will start the game, but there is a very high chance that both Dowman and Salmon will get some minutes off the bench.
The young defender played 14 minutes against Portsmouth in the last round of the FA Cup. Hopefully, he will get more time on the pitch on Sunday.
