Arsenal star Ethan Nwaneri is set to extend his stay at the club, but it’s not the only bit of good news coming out for the star.
The Hale End academy graduate has enjoyed a breakout year, but his attention is now firmly fixed towards the future.
With Nwaneri set to sign a new five-year contract, the Gunners are looking at how they can keep the youngster progressing to reach his potential.
While there is plenty of hope that Mikel Arteta can provide that, there may need to be some room made for another Nwaneri in the coming years.

Emerson Nwaneri makes Arsenal step up with under-18s pre-season appearance
Ethan Nwaneri has been on the radar at Arsenal for some time, having made his debut in the senior team at a young age.
Still the youngest-ever Arsenal player to make an appearance, the 18-year-old is now looking to break more records in the future.
He isn’t the only person in the Nwaneri family to make the step up over the past year, though, as his brother is looking to do the same.
Emerson Nwaneri, the younger brother of Ethan, is also part of the Arsenal academy setup and is looking to make his mark.
A midfielder by trade, the youngster is part of the under-16s setup, but has taken something of a step up in pre-season.
Emerson Nwaneri featured from the substitutes bench in a pre-season defeat to Dover, with Adam Birchall giving some minutes to the youngster.
It’s perhaps a first glimpse at another name for the future, though the first job for the next Nwaneri will be to secure a scholarship.
That may be a moment of pride for Ethan Nwaneri, who has forged a path that his brother will now follow.

Leslie Compton and Denis Compton made Arsenal history as brothers to play for the club
The chance of making it in professional football is slim, but the chance of two brothers making it at the same club is even slimmer.
While the Nwaneri brothers will hope to defy the odds in that way, it has already happened in Arsenal history.
From the 1930s to the 1950s, there were two brothers who played for the Gunners in Leslie Compton and Denis Compton.
Leslie, a defender by trade, made over 250 appearances for Arsenal, winning a First Division title and an FA Cup.
His brother, Denis, made fewer appearances, racking up just over 50, but also landed a First Division title and an FA Cup to his name.
