Arsenal are currently stepping up their preparation for the new season by undergoing a warm-weather training camp in Spain.

Mikel Arteta has brought a large squad with him to the Spanish seaside town of La Manga, which includes several Hale End youngsters.

The Gunners will fly to Singapore at some point in the next week, where their pre-season fixtures will commence.

AC Milan and Newcastle await Arsenal in Southeast Asia, before the North Londoners travel to Hong Kong to take on Tottenham.

Seven academy starlets are currently training with the senior side in La Manga and will be vying for a spot on the plane to Singapore, and at least three are expected to make the cut.

With that said, here are the seven Hale End prospects who are in Spain and fighting for a spot in the pre-season tour squad.

Max Dowman

Max Dowman is expected to be involved in Asia, with the 15-year-old star tipped to feature in the first team next season.

The attacking midfielder is making waves at Hale End, thriving for the under-18s last season, scoring 15 goals and registering five assists in 15 appearances at that level.

Enjoying his first protracted run training with the senior squad in the last week, Dowman has the opportunity to impress Arteta and stake a claim to be properly involved in 2025/26.

Marli Salmon

Like Dowman, Marli Salmon has impressed in the under-18s in the last 12 months, despite being just 15.

The young centre-back has been compared to William Saliba, with his ability to retain the ball under pressure exceptional.

With Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber still recovering from injury, Salmon has a genuine chance of making the squad for Singapore.

Ismael Kabia

Ismael Kabia was named in several Arsenal matchday squads last season and even made his first-team debut in the League Cup against Bolton in September.

In the fold in La Manga, the 19-year-old Dutch winger will hope that uncertainty around the futures of Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson will prompt Arteta to use him in pre-season.

Maldini Kacurri

Maldini Kacurri endured an unsuccessful loan spell at Bromley in League Two in the second half of last season, making just three appearances for the South London side.

However, Arteta seemingly remains keen on the 19-year-old centre-back, who, like Kabia, made his professional debut against Bolton last season.

Similarly to Salmon, Kacurri has a chance of featuring in Singapore as Gabriel and Timber recover.

Josh Nichols

Yet another who made their first senior appearance last season against Bolton, Josh Nichols has some experience in the first team, featuring heavily in pre-season last year.

However, Nichols has been mooted as a possible pawn in a deal for Eberechi Eze with Crystal Palace, and this uncertainty around his future in N5 could mean he doesn’t make the plane to Asia.

Andre Harriman-Annous

Arsenal are currently short on striker options in their squad, with Kai Havertz the only recognised senior centre-forward at the club.

Hale End stars Nathan Butler-Oyedeji and Khayon Edwards departed this summer, arguably making 17-year-old Andre Harriman-Annous next up in this position.

This could give Harriman-Annous, who scored eight goals in 12 under-18 Premier League appearances last season, an opportunity to impress on tour.

Harrison Dudziak

Currently in La Manga, Harrison Dudziak is perhaps the least likely of the academy stars to feature in Southeast Asia.

That said, the likes of Jimi Gower and Jack Henry-Francis were both released by Arsenal this summer, meaning there could be room for a midfield youngster to go on tour alongside Dowman, and 19-year-old Dudziak would be the obvious choice.
