Arsenal have a big summer transfer window coming up.

The Gunners did nothing in January and that has cost them the Premier League title. Arsenal fans have been furious with Stan Kroenke and the board for neglecting the winter window.

The focus now is on the summer, and Andrea Berta is about to come in as Arsenal’s new sporting director. The Italian will be under pressure to make some big moves.

There is some good news for Berta – reports have claimed that Arsenal will have a £300 million transfer budget this summer.

That will allow him to make some big moves, and we have five suggestions for the incoming Arsenal sporting director.

Five players Arsenal could sign with £300m transfer war chest

Arsenal have been linked with several players over the last five months, but here are five who we think will help the Gunners massively:

Alexander Isak – £150 million

Alexander Isak is Arsenal’s dream target.

The Swede has been on the Gunners’ radar for a few years now, but many in the game believe that the summer of 2025 will be when he will be on the move.

Isak’s price tag has been set at £150 million. Arsenal would have to break their transfer record to sign him, but we think he is worth the big bucks.

Nico Williams – £50 million

Nico Williams is another player Arsenal have wanted for a long time.

The Spaniard can play on either wing, is rapid and has already shown that he can deliver at the top level. He would be an amazing signing for the Gunners, and reports have claimed that Arteta has told Berta to make Williams his first Arsenal signing.

Athletic Bilbao have inserted a release clause in Williams’ contract worth around £50 million. That makes him very affordable for Arsenal, but his wage demands could cause a few issues.

Martin Zubimendi – £51 million

Martin Zubimendi is said to be on his way to Arsenal, but a deal has not been agreed yet.

Berta will have to conclude talks with Real Sociedad to seal a deal for the talented Spanish midfielder, who has been on Arteta’s wish list for over two years now.

Zubimendi also has a release clause worth around £51 million, which, again, is a fee Arsenal should be able to afford this summer.

Joan Garcia – £25 million

Arsenal will need a new backup goalkeeper this summer when Neto returns to Bournemouth, and Joan Garcia has been linked more than anyone else in that position.

The Spaniard is one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga, and his ability on the ball combined with his incredible shot-stopping skills makes him a great option.

Garcia’s release clause stands at £25 million, which is close to what Arsenal paid for David Raya last summer.

Sverre Nypan – £10 million

Sverre Nypan has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.

The Norwegian wonderkid is one of the most exciting young players in Europe. He is destined to go to the top, and several clubs want to sign him.

Arsenal are confident of landing Nypan, who is set to cost a fee in the region of £10 million plus add-ons (Guardian).
