Arsenal have made history for the wrong reasons after drawing 2-2 with Wolves.
The Gunners’ chances of winning the Premier League title took a hit at Molineux on Wednesday night after a terrible performance from the leaders.
Mikel Arteta was not a happy man after the game and rightly so because his side dropped their standards to a new low.
We think the Arsenal manager will be even more annoyed after hearing about a record that his side set following their draw against the Wanderers.

Arsenal set unwanted Premier League record after 2-2 draw vs Wolves
Arsenal were overwhelming favourites to beat Wolves at Molineux.
The Gunners have been the best team in the Premier League this season and are deservedly on top of the table. They have been incredible in the Champions League as well and finished above everyone else there too.
Wolves, on the other hand, have had a shocking season and are rock bottom in the league table. They have won just one game all campaign.
Despite that, Arsenal let a two-goal lead slip, thus becoming the first team in Premier League history to do so as the leaders against a side in the relegation battle.

Opta’s Tom Ede wrote on X: “Never mind the bottom side, this is the first time in Premier League history a team top of the table has let a 2+ goal lead slip against a team in the relegation zone.”
It took over three decades of Premier League football for it to happen once, so Arsenal could be stuck with this unwanted record for a long, long time.
That is not a good look at all, but it will all be forgotten if they go all the way in the title race.
Did Arsenal blow their Premier League title chances vs Wolves or is Ange Postecoglou still right?
Arsenal equal terrible record from last season with 11 games to spare
Arsenal had a very difficult 2024/25 campaign because of injuries.
The Gunners lost several key players to long-term issues at key stages of the season, and certain ludicrous red cards didn’t help either.
Over the course of the campaign, Arsenal dropped 21 points from winning positions in 38 games, and that cost them the Premier League title.
This season, the Gunners have already matched that figure, but in 11 fewer games, according to Prime Video Sport. That is absolutely atrocious.
Arsenal now have next to no margin for error. They will have to be at their best every game. If they don’t, Manchester City will pip them to the title for the third season in a row.
