Arsenal have just been held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford in the Premier League.

The Gunners could’ve regained their six-point lead over Manchester City with a win, but they will have to settle for a four-point cushion.

Noni Madueke opened the scoring in the second half, but Keane Lewis-Potter levelled the score, which led to Arsenal dropping two points.

Here are our player ratings from a disappointing display at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Name Arsenal’s most disappointing player vs Brentford but you can’t say Eberechi Eze

Arsenal player ratings vs Brentford

David Raya: 5/10

For the second game running, David Raya nearly made a howler in the first half but got away with it. To be fair to him, he pulled off a fine save to deny Igor Thiago in the same action. He couldn’t do much about the goal.

Jurrien Timber: 5/10

Jurrien Timber’s performance levels have dropped in recent games. The Dutchman wasn’t awful by any means, but he was nowhere near the standards he set for himself earlier in the campaign.

Cristhian Mosquera: 7/10

Cristhian Mosquera had to fill the big boots of William Saliba, and he mostly did a fine job. He made a mistake late on but made amends immediately with a match-saving tackle.

Gabriel Magalhaes: 6/10

Apart from a poor back pass and the challenge that earned him a yellow card, Gabriel Magalhaes mostly had a dominant game at the back. However, he could easily have received a red late in the game.

Piero Hincapie: 7.5/10

Another solid display from Piero Hincapie at left-back. He’s no Riccardo Calafiori, but he did what he had to do well and also picked up a great assist.

Martin Zubimendi: 6/10

Another Arsenal player who didn’t do anything wrong but failed to have a big enough impact on the game.

Declan Rice: 7/10

Similar to Martin Zubimendi, but Declan Rice was involved a lot more in the final third. He tried very hard to create, made some good runs, but failed to change the score.

Eberechi Eze: 1/10

Another shocking performance from Eberechi Eze. He was barely involved in the first half and was deservedly replaced at half-time. He will be lucky if he starts another game in the league this season.

Fill in the blank: If I were Mikel Arteta, I would be telling Eberechi Eze “_________” about his performance vs Brentford…

Noni Madueke: 7.5/10

Madueke scored the opener, but it wasn’t his best performance by any means. However, without his goal, Arsenal would’ve dropped one more point.

Viktor Gyokeres: 6/10

Viktor Gyokeres didn’t score against Brentford, but he was more involved than he usually is in the build-up. Goals are what he will be judged by, but he cannot be criticised for his display tonight.

Leandro Trossard: 5.5/10

Leandro Trossard got on the ball regularly, but didn’t get the better of Arsenal target Michael Kayode as much as he would’ve liked.

Substitutes

Martin Odegaard: 4/10

Replaced Eze at the break and was significantly more involved. However, Martin Odegaard wasn’t the creative force that he should be in this Arsenal side.

Bukayo Saka: 3/10

Arsenal conceded almost immediately after Bukayo Saka made his return from injury. He couldn’t make much of a difference after he came on.

Gabriel Martinelli: 2/10

Gabriel Martinelli had a golden opportunity to win the game late on, but his shot was saved. He had to score that!

Riccardo Calafiori: 3.5/10

There wasn’t much time for Calafiori to do anything.
