Chris Sutton is convinced that Arsenal will win the Premier League title after they beat Burnley, although he has a new question for Mikel Arteta’s team.
The Gunners cruised past the Clarets on Saturday afternoon at Turf Moor, with first-half goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice the difference.
Scott Parker was full of praise for Arsenal, who were excellent offensively in the first half and professional in the second period.
The result sees the North Londoners move seven points clear at the summit of the English top flight.

Chris Sutton asks how many points Arsenal will win the Premier League by
Arsenal now have a sizeable points cushion between them and their primary title rivals.
They’ve conceded just three goals all season, while the victory over Burnley was an example of their attack starting to click into gear.
Arteta’s team are riding high, and many pundits are now tipping them to win the Premier League title.
Ally McCoist has Arsenal as his title favourites, while the likes of Alan Shearer and Paul Merson have been vocal in their belief that the North Londoners will finally lift the trophy that has eluded them for over 20 years.
Former Blackburn striker Chris Sutton also believes that the Gunners are destined to win the title, and he’s now merely wondering by what points margin they’ll do it.
He wrote on X: “Arsenal 7 points clear and can win in so many different ways… how many points will Arsenal win it by…who will finish 2nd in the Premier League? Wolves- is it the end of the road for Victor Pereira? Hearts are 9 points clear in Scotland. Can anyone catch them?”
Arsenal can’t afford to get ahead of themselves
While it’s all well and good for Sutton to be asking questions such as this, the Arsenal squad should not adopt this overzealous outlook.
The Gunners have to remain focused and ensure that they don’t get carried away too early in the campaign.
If they do, they risk becoming complacent and this could easily impact their performance levels.
Liverpool and Manchester City are both more than capable of going on an excellent run and cutting the points gap that currently exists.
Thankfully for Arsenal fans, Arteta’s meticulous personality is likely to mean he’ll already be on top of this mentality issue.
