Max Dowman is without doubt the biggest winner from Arsenal’s impressive 2-0 win over Everton as the teenager became the Premier League’s youngest goal scorer.
The Gunners have now moved 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League following their impressive win at the Emirates Stadium.
Who was Arsenal’s Man of the Match against Everton?
HUGE WIN.
For 86 minutes, Everton managed to keep Mikel Arteta’s team at bay; however, Gyokeres and Dowman changed the game off the bench with two goals.
Arsenal Insider now takes a look at the winners and losers from the victory, and of course, the teenager is one of the headliners.
Winners from Arsenal vs Everton
Max Dowman
Without a doubt, Max Dowman is the biggest winner from Arsenal’s 2-0 win, as the youngster played a massive role in both goals.
Firstly, it was his cross which caused mayhem in Everton’s penalty area, and a touch from Piero Hincapie gifted Gyokeres a tap-in.
Arsenal just didn’t look like scoring before his introduction, but the youngster came on and played with so much purpose, becoming a key option for Arteta.
His goal also made Premier League history as he became the youngest ever goal scorer in the division, aged 16 years and 73 days old.
How many Premier League goals will Max Dowman score before he’s 20? 😳
Exceptional.
Gyokeres hailed Dowman’s decision-making after the match, and that showed against Everton, as the youngster was by far the team’s best performer.
Viktor Gyokeres
Viktor Gyokeres managed just 12 touches in 29 minutes against Everton; however, one of them was the all-important winner.
Ultimately, Arsenal signed Gyokeres for those moments, to be the man in the right place at the right time and against the Toffees, that most certainly was the case.
It has not been pretty, but Gyokeres has now hit 16 goals in all competitions for the North London club this season, which is not bad going.
David Raya
David Raya is one of Arsenal’s unsung heroes from this season, having made so many magnificent saves in different matches.
The Spaniard took another step towards winning the Premier League Golden Glove against the Toffees.

Raya made three big saves against the Toffees, who had chances to win the match at the Emirates.
Eberechi Eze
Eberechi Eze is a surprise winner from the game, as despite not being directly involved in any goals, he was at the heart of most of Arsenal’s attacks.
The 27-year-old managed a season-high in the Premier League of seven shots from outside the box, showing how persistent he was against David Moyes’ side.
He also had 56 touches, completed 32 passes, one key pass, and 23 carries during the win.
Losers from Arsenal vs Everton
Martin Zubimendi
Martin Zubimendi continues to look off the pace for the Gunners, and he was taken off for Dowman as Arteta tried to go for the win.
The midfielder has looked shattered over recent weeks, and now is the time for Arteta to rest him, especially with Christian Norgaard available.
Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka is another who has been struggling for Arsenal, and he failed to have any sort of impact on the game.
He was hooked early against Bayer Leverkusen and quite easily could have had the same again done to him at home to Everton.
