Max Dowman became a record-breaker on Arsenal’s coronation day as Premier League champions.

The Gunners knew they had won the Premier League before a ball was even kicked against Crystal Palace today, but they still produced a professional performance.

Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke sealed a win on the final day of the season, and Dowman more than played his part.

Dowman is now a full-time first-team player, and he played a massive part in helping Arsenal win the Premier League title.

In a must-win game against Everton, when the game was stuck at 0-0, Mikel Arteta turned to Dowman. He played the biggest role in the build-up to the first goal before scoring a brilliant one himself to help Arsenal win 2-0.

Now a Premier League champion, Dowman got a start against Crystal Palace in the final game of the season, and Wright sang his praises after the team news came out.

The Arsenal legend has predicted that the teenager will become a ‘special’ player for the club for years to come.

He said on Sky Sports: “Unbelievable! Even that goal (against Everton), you look back at it now, and it’s such a moment… It was like the moment we had when Reiss Nelson scored against Bournemouth a couple of seasons ago and the stadium just erupted.

“But that one (Dowman’s) was even better because again, it goes down to Arsenal, one of ours out of Hale End, in a big game, where we needed to win, and then finishing off the game like that… It was just amazing for him to come on.

“He is an unbelievable player. And you know, the way they are going to try and make sure that they do the minutes for him… He is going to be something special. I’m telling you.”

Dowman has broken several records already this season, and he has another one to his name.

By starting against Crystal Palace, the Hale End sensation became the youngest player to start a game in the history of the Premier League.

He has broken Jose Baxter’s record by achieving the feat at the age of 16 years and 144 days, and honestly, someone incredibly special will have to come up to break his record.

Furthermore, Dowman has also become the youngest player ever to win the Premier League title.

Having made more than five appearances in the league, Dowman will get a medal, and he completely deserves it.
