Arsenal return to action in the Premier League on Saturday as the Gunners host Nottingham Forest.

Paul Merson wants to see Arsenal kick on, and so will Mikel Arteta, as the North Londoners sit nine points below league leaders Liverpool.

Welcoming Forest to N5 will be a significant challenge for Arteta’s squad, who are without a win in their previous four Premier League matches.

Heading into the fixture level on points with Nuno Santo’s side makes for a thriller at the Emirates, with Arsenal needing to be at their best to claim three points.

Ian Wright and Roy Keane predict Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest score

A win is the minimum for the Gunners on Saturday, which is something Arteta would have drilled into his squad over the international break.

The manager does have a challenge to overcome internally, however, as Arsenal could have seven players unavailable to play Forest

Regardless of team news and player fitness, the hosts have to get the job done on match day 12, with Ian Wright sending a clear demand to Arteta.

Predicting the fixtures in week 12, the panel on Stick to Football shared their opinion on Arsenal’s clash with Forest.

“We need to get back on track. I think we beat them 2-1 or 2-0,” Wright said.

The Arsenal icon’s view was shared by Roy Keane, who responded, “I’m with you, 2-1 or 2-0 I agree, good shout Wrighty.”

Wright’s prediction didn’t end at the scoreline, as he went on to send a warning to Forest ahead of Martin Odegaard’s Emirates return.

“Odegaard’s back, it’s all over,” the Highbury talisman declared.

The Emirates will welcome the captain back on the pitch for the first time since August, making for a special occasion.
