Myles Lewis-Skelly left his mark on Real Madrid by punishing Los Blancos over two legs.

There were few performers as good as Lewis-Skelly against Real Madrid, as the 18-year-old made his name known to the Champions League holders.

Breakthrough seasons don’t come as impactful as the teenager’s, becoming an England international, an Arsenal regular and a dominator of Real Madrid since the start of the year.

In Arsenal’s win against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, Lewis-Skelly was at the top of his game, being a figure the hosts struggled to contain.

Real Madrid could not handle Myles Lewis-Skelly

Lewis-Skelly was unfazed by Real Madrid before the match, and his nerves didn’t seem to increase after the referee’s whistle sounded.

Though Madrid dreamed of a comeback, it was Arsenal who ensured the night belonged to them, in what was another masterclass from the Hale End graduate.

To say that Carlo Ancelotti’s players struggled to keep a hold on Lewis-Skelly is an understatement, for one reason.

No Arsenal player was fouled more times than the Englishman, who drew as many as five fouls in 90 minutes, the same number won by Vinicius Junior.

On a night that Madrid expected to be the protagonists, it was Lewis-Skelly who occupied the space at the forefront of the Galacticos’ minds.

Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka blown away by Lewis-Skelly

Arguably, the 18-year-old’s performance level was unsurprising after Lewis-Skelly dominated Madrid in the first leg

The amount of fouls the teen drew told the story of how Real Madrid were unable to compete with him, a level of display that had his teammates in awe.

Reacting to the game on Instagram, Lewis-Skelly posted a series of photos of himself at the Bernabeu, with Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka sharing their admiration for their teammate in the comments.

“We’re witnessing levels,” Rice said, while Saka was in a state of disbelief over the left-back’s age, commenting, “18 years old.”

Those at Hale End would’ve watched the starlet with great pride, as one of the best teams in world football failed to cope with his excellence.
