Arsenal losing the Champions League final seems to have brought a lot of joy to rival fans.
The Gunners held their own against Paris Saint-Germain, and if a refereeing decision had gone their way, they would’ve been European champions.
After the final whistle, several supporters of other clubs took to social media to mock Arsenal, but some rival players decided to jump on the bandwagon too.
Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison is one of them, but it looks like he has changed his tune now.

Richarlison does a U-turn after mocking Arsenal’s Champions League defeat
Richarlison is no stranger to having a go at rival players on social media.
The Brazil international has had a long-standing Instagram battle with Gabriel Magalhaes, and the latter has made sure to give it back in the past as well.
On Saturday night, Richarlison initially posted a video on his Instagram Story of a child pretending to cry and then laughing.
Then, just when everyone expected him to have a go at Gabriel, the Brazilian surprisingly showed him some love.
He wrote in another Instagram Story: “Lift your head up, man. There’s a (World) Cup coming soon. And you’re going to dominate it.”
That is great to see from Richarlison.
Friendly banter is all well and good, but the Tottenham forward has shown support during one of the most painful moments of Gabriel’s career.

Gabriel Magalhaes will bounce back at Arsenal
It was such a shame to see Gabriel miss his penalty.
The former Lille man was arguably the best player on the pitch for 120 minutes. He made a few crucial tackles, put his body on the line to save Arsenal and was near flawless at the back.
Scoring the penalty to keep the Gunners alive would’ve been a great way to end the game, but sadly, it ended in disappointment.
However, Gabriel’s mentality is absolutely elite, and we are convinced that he is going to bounce back in the famous red and white next season.
