There aren’t many players in world football who are better than Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
The England international broke into the Gunners’ side as a teenager, and he has since been a key part of the team that has developed into one of the best in the world.
Saka, who has agreed a new Arsenal contract, is the face of the club, and everyone who understands the game knows that he is a world-class footballer.
However, Antoine Semenyo feels one of Andrea Berta’s transfer targets is even better than the Gunners’ number seven – Rodrygo.
If you were Andrea Berta, how much would you pay to sign Rodrygo for Arsenal in 2026?
Antoine Semenyo says Rodrygo is better than Arsenal star Bukayo Saka
Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Rodrygo for several months now.
The Brazil international has dropped down the pecking order at Real Madrid since Xabi Alonso became the new Los Blancos manager.
Arsenal thought about a move for the versatile attacker last summer, but they chose to sign Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke instead in the end.
However, reports have linked the Gunners with a move to sign Rodrygo again in 2026, and it will be interesting to see what Berta will do at the end of the season.

The Premier League leaders already have Bukayo Saka on the right wing, which has been Rodrygo’s primary position at Real Madrid.
Even if the Brazilian arrives at Arsenal, he will not displace Saka, but Antoine Semenyo seems to think otherwise.
In a video on ESPN, the attacker played a game of ‘winger stays on’, where he had to choose between two wide players.
After picking Saka over the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jack Grealish, Marcus Rashford and even Leroy Sane, the Ghanaian chose Rodrygo over the Arsenal number seven.
Who’s better – Bukayo Saka or Rodrygo?
Antoine Semenyo thinks Rodrygo is better than Bukayo Saka. Do you agree?
Bukayo Saka vs Rodrygo stats compared
Saka and Rodrygo are both world-class players.
The two wingers possess the ability to win games for their sides on their own, and they have done so many times over the years.
However, is Rodrygo really better than Saka? The stats don’t think so.
| Games | Goals | Assists | |
| Bukayo Saka for Arsenal | 290 | 77 | 77 |
| Rodrygo for Real Madrid | 293 | 71 | 57 |
Saka has played three fewer games for Arsenal than Rodrygo has for Real Madrid, but the England star has still managed to score and assist more goals.
What makes that feat even more impressive is the fact that Saka started off as a left-back at Arsenal and played for a side who were significantly worse than the Galacticos in his first few years.
We wouldn’t mind it if Arsenal brought Rodrygo to the Premier League, but he is not better than Saka by any stretch of the imagination.
