Arsenal travel to the north-west to take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners will be looking to tighten their grip on second place and secure a spot in the Premier League’s top five with victory on Merseyside.
Paris Saint-Germain knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League in midweek, meaning Mikel Arteta’s team will finish the season without silverware.
Thus, restoring some pride and positivity around the club with a good result at Anfield is imperative, and Arteta will be focused on doing this on Sunday.

Arne Slot says Conor Bradley will start for Liverpool against Arsenal
Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions over a week ago, and Arsenal will subsequently give Slot’s team a guard of honour before the encounter on Sunday.
The Gunners rapidly fell out of the title race in 2025, with injuries, suspensions and some poor form derailing Arteta’s side.
The North Londoners will be looking for a small consolation with mini-revenge at Anfield, and they may have already been handed a boost ahead of the game.
Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Arne Slot confirmed that Conor Bradley will start the match against Arsenal, likely meaning Trent Alexander-Arnold will drop to the bench.
“Conor Bradley is going to start [v Arsenal],” the Dutch manager said.
“He needs playing time to be better prepared for next season.”
While Bradley is a promising prospect and a good player in his own right, he offers nowhere near the level of ball progression and creativity that Alexander-Arnold offers from right-back.
This should help Arsenal’s inexperienced left side cope with Mohamed Salah, with the supply line to the Egyptian significantly reduced without the Real Madrid-bound man.

Liverpool team news for Arsenal clash
Arsenal have had extensive injury issues this season, while the same cannot be said of Liverpool.
The Reds have had to contend with few long-term fitness problems, and they come into the Arsenal fixture with a largely available squad.
Joe Gomez is the only casualty, with the versatile defender still recovering from a relatively serious thigh injury.
The England international is expected to return to action later this month.
Slot may well ring the changes as he looks to prepare for next season, with the lack of jeopardy in this game potentially making it an encounter lacking in intensity.
