Against Sheffield United on Monday, Arsenal could do something that no other club in the history of English football has done.

The Gunners are in incredible form right now. We’ve been tearing teams apart in the Premier League, and if we do that again on Monday, Arsenal will set an incredible new record.

Arsenal could set all-time English league record vs Sheffield United

Arsenal have been on fire since our winter break in Dubai, and we’ve broken a number of records.

Mikel Arteta‘s side have won every single one of our six games in the Premier League since the break, scoring 25 and conceding just three in the process.

That is an outrageous statistic, and things could get even better as our next opponents, Sheffield United, have conceded more goals than any other club in the Premier League.

It won’t be a surprise at all if Arsenal manage to pull off another big win at Bramall Lane. We could even set a fantastic new record.

If Arsenal beat Sheffield United by a five-goal margin, we will become the first team in the top four tiers of English football to win three consecutive away games by five goals or more.

Arsenal beat West Ham 6-0 at the London Stadium and followed that up with a 5-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor in our last two away league games.

A win is the most important thing for Arsenal

Arsenal are more than capable of smashing five past Sheffield United – we’ve already done that this season.

In the reverse fixture at the Emirates back in October, the Gunners picked up a resounding 5-0 win over the Blades thanks to a hat-trick from Eddie Nketiah and goals from Fabio Vieria and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

A repeat of that would see Arsenal set a new record, but the most important thing is a win to keep pace with Liverpool, who just won today, and Manchester City, who will likely batter Manchester United tomorrow.

It will be interesting to see how the game pans out on Monday. All we care about is the three points.
