The January transfer is also nearing the end as Arsenal look to get some final deals over the line in the following week.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest news for the Gunners ahead of a busy day.
Arsenal handed Igor Jesus transfer competition
Arsenal face some competition from Nottingham Forest in the race to sign Igor Jesus in the January transfer window.
That’s according to South American journalist Eduardo Burgos, who claims that the Premier League rivals are eyeing the striker.
Former director Edu Gaspar is expected to join the multi-club ownership group that Nottingham Forest come under, which could see him scupper Arsenal’s transfer plans.
It remains to be seen whether that will change as the final days of the transfer window approach.

Arsenal provide plan for Sverre Nypan transfer
Arsenal are one of three clubs to present a project to Sverre Nypan ahead of a potential January transfer, claims Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners appear to be joined by Girona, as part of the City Football Group, and Aston Villa as teams look to land the promising youngster.
With the midfielder touted to leave Rosenborg during their pre-season training, it could present a chance to secure a switch at an ideal time.
Whether it’s Arsenal or one of the other competitors who complete the transfer remains to be seen though.
