Arsenal fans all say the same thing about Simon Adingra, their message to Arteta couldn’t be clearer

Arsenal are still seeking a way to bolster their attacking contingent in this summer transfer window.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of attackers so far this summer. However, as things stand, Mikel Arteta has been unable to add to his ranks in this part of the pitch.

Now, Eddie Nketiah may soon leave Arsenal, and his departure would leave the Gunners in even greater need of additional depth in the final third.

Simon Adingra could replace Nketiah. The Brighton winger has the versatility to slot in anywhere across the front line, and has plenty of qualities that would make him a good fit for Arteta’s side. Arsenal lack pace in their squad. Adingra would certainly help to address this deficiency, for a start.

The 22-year-old would provide back up for the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, and is an exciting talent who could go to the next level under the guidance of Arteta.

Arsenal fans urge Mikel Arteta to chase Simon Adingra

Rumours that the Seagulls may be open to parting with Adingra, as Fabrizio Romano has reported on X that Brighton are close to signing Brajan Gruda, have spread like wildfire.

Many Arsenal fans are now desperate to see the North London club capitalise on this situation and launch a move for Adingra.

One supporter said: “Bring Simon Adingra to the Emirates !!!! Arsenal interest gotta be legit… He’ll provide great depth and competition for Saka and Martinelli.”

Another claimed: “He’ll give Martinelli the competition he needs IMO.”

One stated: “I will take him to act as a competition for Saka and on the left. Fantastic addition if Arsenal are able to negotiate a fair price for him and bring him to the carpet. Ricardo, Merino, Adingra is 10/10 window.”

Another chipped in with: “Big upgrade on Nelson. Then we have 4 quality wingers in Saka, Trossard, Martinelli and Adingra.”

One fan added: “Simon Adingra might legit give both Saka and Martinelli some competition.”

What signing Adingra would mean for Reiss Nelson

Whilst the departure of Nketiah could make room for Adingra, his arrival would surely also spell the end of Reiss Nelson’s Arsenal career.

The Hale End academy graduate was a bit-part player for the Gunners last season, and needs to seek pastures new for the sake of his own career at this point.

There has been some transfer interest in Nelson this summer. Sporting director Edu will be hoping that soon solidifies into a formal offer.
