Arsenal star Leandro Trossard has been excellent in recent weeks, and he continued his fine form in Belgium’s 5-0 victory over Azerbaijan last night.
Romelu Lukaku scored four times before Trossard added a fifth late on, but his goal was a small highlight in an otherwise mesmerising performance.
The 28-year-old was at his best going forward, creating a lot of chances and putting his incredible technical ability on full display, and Arsenal fans watching were left very impressed by one bit of skill he did.
Arsenal fans impressed by Leandro Trossard
Taking to X, Arsenal fans highlighted a bit of skill from the attacker which saw him jump over an incoming tackle whilst also chipping the ball over at the same time, before darting into the box via some deft touches.
It was an incredible run from Trossard, and it emphasised how good his close control of the ball in tight spaces is.
Trossard is arguably one of the most underrated players at the club, and fans are now claiming that the versatile forward is “elite.”
“Elite level footballer,” one fan stated of him.
“His close control is ethereal,” a fan pointed out.
One even claimed that Trossard was a throwback to Arsenal players of the past under Arsene Wenger, as the likes of Santi Cazorla and Andrei Arshavin would stand out based on their technical quality.
“Ridiculous technician. Wenger player all day,” he claimed.
Arsenal fans want Trossard to play more

With Gabriel Jesus set to return from injury, a fan highlighted that Trossard should still keep his place upfront even when the Brazilian is available.
“Oh Wow. That’s insane guys. Yeah, as I said it earlier.. I’ll be very furious if Mikel started benching Leo Trossard for Gabriel Jesus,” he stated of his skill.
Trossard arrived from Brighton last January, and quickly became popular with the Arsenal fans.
“Truly amazing to me that we signed this tiny little magician,” a fan pointed out.
Some were in disbelief at how good Trossard’s skill was, with one supporter even claiming that the move was so “insane” that it “looks edited.”
It is clear that fans want Trossard to play more, and some even rate him above the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in terms of pure technical ability.
“Arsenal’s most technically gifted player, my man needs more minutes,” someone claimed.
“I’ll forever say this, he’s the most underrated footballer in the premier league. He’s so technically gifted and he barely does anything wrong,” a fan stated, with Trossard perhaps not receiving enough plaudits compared to rival players.
Trossard will be hoping to keep his place as a striker when Arsenal head to Brentford on Saturday, with Eddie Nketiah, Kai Havertz and possibly Jesus all eyeing up his spot.
