Gabriel Martinelli injury latest
Gabriel Martinelli was unable to make the Arsenal squad to face Brentford, following an injury he picked up against Sheffield United. The winger took a cut to the foot after studs went through his boot, forcing him off limping.
With concerns over the Brazilian’s fitness, ahead of the clash with Porto, there are further worries ahead. According to journalist Tom Canton, on X, Martinelli was seen “on crutches” after the final whistle against Brentford, coming as a major potential blow.

Arsenal transfer exit
With the summer transfer window looming, teams are starting to draft up their plans for the coming months. Arsenal are no different, regardless of how their season ends, with Mikel Arteta looking for his team to continue improving.
That includes potential outgoings, as GIVEMESPORT claim Arsenal are now willing to sell Kieran Tierney for the right price in the transfer market – with negotiations starting at £20million. The left-back is currently on loan at Real Sociedad for the campaign.

Aaron Ramsdale reaction
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale became a focus of discussion surrounding the Brentford clash, following a key error. The England international attempted to play a late pass to beat the press of Yoane Wissa, but in doing so hit the striker, with the ball ending up in the back of the net.
It was a nightmare start for the shotstopper on a rare chance to impress this season, though fortunately his blushes were spared by Kai Havertz‘s late winner. After the final whistle, reporter Sam Dean claimed on on X, that Arteta and veteran midfielder Jorginho were quick to hug Ramsdale on the pitch – summing up the unity within the squad.
