Arsenal handed fresh Ben White injury
Just as Arsenal look to recover from several injury concerns, a new one has appeared for Mikel Arteta to deal with.
Ben White is a fresh issue for the Gunners to look at, with the right-back already playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks.
Journalist Jordan Davies confirmed: “Ben White had a minor ‘procedure’ following the 1-1 draw at Chelsea. Not expected to be a serious layoff and, as expected, he is prepared to play through the pain barrier as soon as he can.”
It remains to be seen whether the defender will be back in action in time to face Nottingham Forest in the first game after the international break.
Given issues elsewhere in the squad, many will be hoping it’s a quick recovery for White so he can hit top form again.

Arsenal interested in Martin Zubimendi transfer
Arsenal are showing interest in a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi ahead of the coming transfer windows.
That’s according to The Independent, which claims that the Gunners are in the race to land the Spaniard in a potential deal.
Mikel Arteta is claimed to want him to add to the “tactical” options available in the midfield ranks, bolstering the squad overall.

Arsenal face some potential competition though as Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked over the past few months.
The Spaniard turned down a transfer over the summer, with the Reds showing particular interest in a deal that never went through.

Arsenal wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri impresses in England action
Over the international break, there has been some action for Arsenal players as Ethan Nwaneri was one of those featuring for his national team.
England under-19s faced off with Lithuania in European Championships qualification, with the aim of moving a step closer to confirming a place in the competition.
It was a tense game that ended 1-0 to the Young Lions, thanks to a goal from Nwaneri, who moves from strength to strength.

He added something new to his game in scoring a header, an element that hadn’t previously been seen in action for the Gunners.
Arsenal will be hopeful that Nwaneri can add that in senior team action when he features next under Arteta.
