Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Gabriel Jesus injury, Nico Williams transfer and Jakub Kiwior exit.

Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United in brutal fashion as penalties went the way of the Red Devils.

The Gunners can’t dwell on it for too long though, with a big North London Derby coming up next against Tottenham.

In the transfer window, there are a few moves going on behind the scenes for Arsenal that could bolster their ranks.

So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest Arsenal stories ahead of another big day.

Arsenal injury concern after Man United defeat

Arsenal were defeated at the hands of Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners went behind in the second half through Bruno Fernandes but fortunately drew level from Gabriel Magalhaes.

Martin Odegaard stepped up to take a penalty to give his side the lead but missed from the spot to force extra time and then a penalty shootout.

Kai Havertz’s miss from the spot proved to be costly as Man United went through and Arsenal went out.

It wasn’t the only big issue for the Gunners though, with injury to Gabriel Jesus also coming as a fresh concern.

Speaking after the game, Mikel Arteta told the press: “Big worry, that’s my feeling. He had to come off with a stretcher. The impact, the feeling that he had.”

Arsenal latest on Nico Williams transfer

Arsenal’s interest in Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams comes as little surprise, having been rumoured with a switch for some time.

The Spaniard has a release clause in the range of £50million, which could be triggered to complete a deal this January.

However, there are four issues standing in the way, according to David Ornstein on the Athletic FC podcast.

The journalist reveals that the finances of triggering the deal could be an issue, due to it all being paid up front, while the wages would also have to receive an increase.

On top of that, Nico Williams isn’t agitating to make a move happen, while Barcelona and Chelsea are also in the mix for his signature.

It remains to be seen if that could change in the weeks ahead.

Mikel Arteta changes mind on Jakub Kiwior transfer

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has been linked with a potential transfer exit in the weeks ahead, with uncertainty surrounding his future.

The Polish international has struggled for game time and could look to find more involvement in a team elsewhere.

There have been plenty of links with a return to the Serie A, but it seems as though any potential switch could be blocked.

That’s because, according to Tuttomercato, Arsenal have no intention of selling Kiwior in the January transfer window.
