Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Theo Hernandez, Ronald Araujo, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Mikel Merino.
Arsenal are back in action on Sunday as they play host to Manchester United in the FA Cup third round, with both teams looking to get through to the next round.
The Gunners have their eyes on silverware for the campaign, with pressure on Mikel Arteta to deliver some in the weeks ahead.
With the transfer window now open, the north London side are also looking to bolster their ranks with some possible signings.
There may also be a few exits on the cards during a busy month for the squad both on and off the pitch.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news for the day.
Arsenal double transfer interest
Arsenal have been linked with a potential move for defensive duo Ronald Araujo and Theo Hernandez over the January transfer window.
The pair are both in the final 18 months of their contracts with their respective clubs, creating an opportunity for a move.
Arsenal Insider understands that, at this moment in time, Arsenal are yet to make an approach for Barcelona star Araujo.

Meanwhile, Arsenal Insider also understands that the Gunners “really like” Hernandez but a move appears unlikely in January.
It means that, as things stand, neither defender is likely to join Arsenal before the end of the month.

Arsenal stance on Oleksandr Zinchenko transfer exit
Arsenal are considering all possibilities surrounding the future of Oleksandr Zinchenko this month, Arsenal Insider understands.
The defender is into the final 18 months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium, putting doubt over his future.

With dwindling game time, there could be the possibility of a permanent exit or a loan, if the right offer is made.
One factor that could complicate it is the left-back’s high wages, which puts some doubt over a possible switch.

Mikel Merino on his start at Arsenal
Arsenal made a big push to sign Mikel Merino in the summer from Real Sociedad, with hopes he would bolster the midfield.
There were some early struggles from the Spaniard, with an injury immediately stopping him from making an impact.
Since then, Merino has been in and out of the side, with questions coming over how well the signing could work out.
Speaking to the Standard about his start, the midfielder said: “I might be big and strong, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have the other qualities.

“Obviously, I’m not a David Silva style of player. But all those pass-first mentality, pass and move, keep the ball, don’t feel the pressure when you have a player on your back – I think those are things that I have in my game.
“It’s about just trying to develop it. But obviously, I’m not going to be the player who moves in the pocket like David Silva did or moves in the pocket like [Andres] Iniesta did. I’m a different kind of player.
“But yeah, I also have the same mentality as they had.”
