Arsenal have decided to lodge an appeal against the red card awarded to Myles Lewis-Skelly in the win over Wolves.

The defender was shown a controversial straight red card for serious foul play, with Michael Oliver deeming the challenge to be dangerous.

That wasn’t the view of supporters, pundits and seemingly Arsenal, who have looked to overturn the decision.

If it goes in their favour, then Lewis-Skelly is set to be available over the weekend, going against the three-match ban he was initially handed.

Jhon Duran to Arsenal transfer chance

Arsenal have been on the hunt for a new striker for some time, with several different links emerging during the transfer market.

The latest of those is Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, as Fabrizio Romano claims that a call has been made to keep progress on the situation surrounding the forward.

Speaking on YouTube, the journalist said: “For Jhon Duran, let me tell you something. West Ham had a bid rejected. Interest from several clubs around Europe.

“What I’m told is also Arsenal made a call in recent weeks to understand the situation of John Duran because Sesko, at the moment, no green light from Leipzig.

“Also, Alexander Isak, the dream target of Arsenal, super expensive, very complicated – impossible is nothing in football, but very complicated.

“So in the recent weeks, Arsenal also called to understand the situation of Jhon Duran, but no bid, no direct negotiations with Aston Villa.”

Ayden Heaven set for Arsenal transfer exit

Arsenal youngster Ayden Heaven is set for an exit in the coming weeks, with a move to Manchester United on the cards.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a deal has been agreed that will see the defender make a switch to Old Trafford.

A medical has been booked, with Heaven ready to switch one red Premier League side for the other.
