Arsenal are set to travel to Singapore and Hong Kong this summer for their pre-season tour, although the North London club’s hierarchy is looking to add more fixtures to Mikel Arteta’s team’s schedule.
Arteta’s squad will return to training at London Colney in early July, as they prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
It was announced in April that Arsenal would go on a tour of Asia, after spending the last three summers in the United States.
The first North London Derby away from English soil will take place in Hong Kong at the end of July, following matches against AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore.
- July 23: Arsenal vs AC Milan – 12:30pm (BST) – National Stadium, Singapore
- July 27: Arsenal vs Newcastle – 12:30pm (BST) – National Stadium, Singapore
- July 31: Arsenal vs Tottenham – 11:30am (BST) – Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong
However, Arsenal typically play between five and seven games before the season commences, and it’s now been revealed that their pre-season schedule is indeed not yet complete.

Arsenal to host Emirates Cup in August
In recent seasons, Arsenal have played a solitary match in front of fans before going on their pre-season tour, with two of these in the last three years coming in Germany against Nurnberg.
While an equivalent fixture for 2025 is yet to be confirmed, the post-tour matches have now been mooted.
After playing Spurs in Hong Kong on July 31st, Arsenal are expected to host the Emirates Cup on either August 9th or August 10th, depending on when the Community Shield is scheduled.
The Community Shield has been held on both the Saturday and the Sunday of the weekend before the Premier League kicks off, meaning neither day is currently more likely than the other.
The Emirates Cup will presumably be held on the day that the Premier League curtain raiser isn’t, to avoid fixture congestion.
Meanwhile, it’s also said to be likely that Arsenal will have another pre-season friendly at the Emirates Stadium, perhaps between the Spurs game and the match on the weekend of August 9/10.

When will the Premier League fixtures be announced?
Arsenal will discover their Premier League fixture schedule for the 2025/26 season on Wednesday, June 18th.
The first weekend of the new season will span over August 16th and August 17th, meaning the Gunners will have an 83-day gap between their final game of last campaign against Southampton and their first of the new term.
Arteta will be desperate for his players to return to training in perfect condition, ready to launch another assault on the Premier League title.
The Spaniard will also be hoping for a slightly less gruelling start to the campaign than his team had to endure last season, when they played the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa all away from home in their opening five games.
