Arsenal are preparing for a busy January transfer window that could see some huge moves in and out of the squad.
Mikel Arteta’s team have been pushing for the Premier League title this season, but find themselves a bit off the pace compared to leaders Liverpool.
While the manager has been able to galvanise the Gunners to kick on and make up the ground they’ve lost so far, some solutions may simply come from outside the current options available to him.
Arsenal may look to bolster the squad in the transfer window to boost their chances in all competitions, with plenty of different names linked.
Centre-forwards have been one topic of discussion, but so too have the next bunch of promising youngsters with bright futures.

Arsenal linked with Jamie Gittens transfer
One star who has been linked with a potential move to the Emirates Stadium in January is Borussia Dortmund starlet Jamie Gittens.
The 20-year-old has been impressing in Germany, making his way into the side and having an influence with goals and assists.
Gittens is an English youth international and is capable of playing on either the left or right flank, despite being mainly right-footed.
The youngster is attracting interest, with Sky Sports in Germany reporting that Arsenal are amongst those teams looking at a deal.
The report claims that rivals Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are also in the mix, with some clubs opening talks to see if a deal can be completed.
It remains to be seen if the Gunners will lodge a bid in January, though there has been plenty of praise from a certain Jude Bellingham.

What Jude Bellingham has said about Jamie Gittens
For those unsure of just how good Gittens could be, a former teammate of his in Bellingham has already given a promising verdict.
Speaking in late 2023, the Real Madrid star tipped his fellow Englishman as a potential option to win the Golden Boy award.
Talking to TuttoSport, he first claimed Arda Guler could win the award, before saying on Gittens: “Then my old teammate Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, top talent.”
It’s top praise for the youngster, who is looking to improve and reach the heights, something he could do at Arsenal.
How good is Jamie Gittens?
While he is still a young option, Gittens is starting to show some quality that could turn him into a top player at the highest level.
This season alone he has seven goals, four of which in the Champions League, while he has a few assists to his name too.
| Appearances | 18 |
| Goals | 7 |
| Assists | 4 |
It’s fair to say he is pretty good but as with any young player, there is room for improvement and a path to develop on.
Whether he’s ready for that move to the Premier League with Arsenal remains to be seen, but it’s clear that he may be one worth gambling on in the market.
