Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Leandro Trossard, Theo Hernandez and Alexander Isak.
Arsenal are still preparing for another cup match as they swap the EFL Cup for the FA Cup over the weekend.
The Gunners play host to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, looking to knock out the current holders to give themselves a chance in the competition.
While Mikel Arteta and his troops ready themselves for that, there is also the transfer window to take note of.
So far, the January market has been relatively quiet for the side, but there could be some action coming their way soon.
With that said, here’s a look at the biggest news stories ahead of another busy day for Arsenal.
Leandro Trossard rejects new Arsenal contract
Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is nearing the final year of his contract at the club, with just 18 months remaining on his current deal.
The 30-year-old has made a tremendous impact since joining the Gunners from Brighton in 2023, mostly playing a role as a super-sub.
While output has declined somewhat this year, there has been a concerted effort to keep Trossard at the club.

However, according to Football Transfers, the Belgian international has recently rejected a contract offer made by Arsenal.
It remains unclear exactly what that will now mean for Trossard, who was linked with an exit last summer.

Arsenal target Theo Hernandez transfer
While Arsenal appear to be in the market for another forward addition to the squad, they won’t stop them from looking at other positions.
That includes in the defence, where the Gunners have been relatively well-stocked over the campaign, but could be even stronger.
With that in mind, the Sun reports that AC Milan star Theo Hernandez is now on the radar for a switch to Arsenal.

The left-back, who has often been regarded as one of the best currently out there, has a contract that expires in 18 months.
With his transfer value likely to dwindle over the next year before he is able to sign a pre-contract elsewhere, a move could be on the cards.

Arsenal revive Alexander Isak interest
Arsenal’s long-standing interest in Newcastle striker Alexander Isak comes as little surprise, given how publicly the potential switch has been discussed.
It’s one that has been made awkward by the north London outfit not making a move when they perhaps should’ve earlier.
With a deal seeming unlikely in January, it has put doubt on a possible switch altogether, given the likely high price tag and the three years remaining on his contract.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Arsenal seem set to revive their interest in sealing a move in the summer.
The report claims that the Gunners are not against hitting £100million on a target again, following Declan Rice’s move in 2023.
That doesn’t guarantee a move though, with plenty of factors still standing in the way of a deal.
