The Gunners have put themselves in pole position to secure a place in the top-eight of the competition, needing just one point from their final game.
With Girona already knocked out of the Champions League, Arsenal will feel it is a chance to end the league phase of the contest in style.
If Mikel Arteta and his side manage to secure a draw – or even better, a win – then his side are set for a much-needed cash boost during the transfer window.

Champions League prize money explained
The Champions League is one of, if not the, most lucrative competition to be a part of in football at this current time.
The money on offer can change teams and their fortunes, with Arsenal knowing all too well what a period without qualification can do.
There are broadcasting rights that fetch a hefty fee, along with the commercial revenues and matchday income that clubs can earn.
On top of that comes the prize money on offer from UEFA for certain results and making it a certain distance in the competition.
For the 2024/25 season, the breakdown looks like this:
| Result | Prize money |
| League-phase draw | £590,000 |
| League-phase win | £1.8m |
| Stage | Prize money |
| League phase qualification | £15.7m |
| Top-eight league-phase | £1.7m |
| Ninth to 16th league-phase | £900,000 |
| Round of 16 | £9.3m |
| Quarter-final | £10.6m |
| Semi-final | £12.7m |
| Runner-up | £15.6m |
| Winner | £21.1m |
Plenty of money is on the table, with Arsenal able to move a step closer to landing a huge chunk of that in the match ahead.

How much Arsenal prize money can be earned from the Champions League?
Arsenal are on the verge of qualification for the round of 16, needing just one point to land it against Girona.
If the Gunners do secure a point, they will earn £590,000 for the result, £1.7million for a top-eight finish and £9.3million for reaching the round of 16.
In that instance, Arsenal would earn just shy of £12million, while a win would secure £1.8million – which is over £1million more than if they landed just a point with a draw.
It comes as a huge boost for Arteta and Arsenal, who could budget for that extra £12million in the remaining days of the transfer window.
