Trossard sends Arteta a statement over his Arsenal role
Belgium winger Trossard wants to make it ‘difficult’ for Arteta to take him out of the Arsenal line-up. The 28-year-old has impressed at the top of the Gunners’ attack in recent games as Arteta manages injuries for Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah. But his ongoing role is unclear.
Trossard scored after starting as a striker against Sevilla and Burnley before the international break. He also penned one assist at home to the Clarets to take his tally to six goals and two assists this season. Yet Trossard has started just seven games over 14 appearances so far.
Arteta faces questions over his team selection when Arsenal return to action at Brentford on November 25. But Trossard believes he can do no more than what he showed against Sevilla and Burnley to retain a place ahead of Nketiah whilst Jesus continues to recover from injury.
“I am very satisfied with my performance at Arsenal,” Trossard told HLN. “We are doing well and I am happy that I can contribute to that… I don’t think anything needs to improve. I am doing well and can’t do more than make it as difficult as possible for the coach.”

Juventus have met Partey to discuss a transfer from Arsenal
Juventus technical director Cristiano Giuntoli travelled to London to speak to Thomas Partey about a transfer from Arsenal in recent days. That is according to Santi Aouna, who reports that the Serie A team have marked the 30-year-old as a prime target for a mid-season loan.
The Bianconeri are determined to bolster Massimiliano Allegri’s side in the winter sales and feel Partey fixes a pressing need. Juventus do not feel their current midfielders offer enough bite. It comes amid claims that Arsenal are open to offers to sell Partey in the January sales.

Arsenal academy sensation Obi-Martin scores 10 vs Liverpool
The Arsenal Under-16 team claimed an astounding 14-3 win over Liverpool on Saturday with Chidozie Obi-Martin scoring 10 goals. He is fast developing into a sensational goal threat for the Gunners’ youth sides at Hale End. The forward has also enjoyed occasional U21 outings.
Obi-Martin is a tall and imposing talent now establishing himself as one of the top prospects in Arsenal’s academy. He has frequently played for teams above his age group, including for their Under-18s while a U15 prospect last term. He has also represented England’s U16 side.
