Club chief speaks out on Dusan Vlahovic amid Arsenal transfer
Arsenal have been linked with another surprise transfer for striker Dusan Vlahovic, with the Gunners looking to bolster their forward ranks.
The Serbian international had been the subject of interest back in 2022, with Mikel Arteta looking to land him from Fiorentina.
Instead, he made the move to Juventus, dealing a blow to the side who have struggled to secure a clinical centre-forward since.

As Vlahovic nears the final year of his contract, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has discussed his situation.
He told the press: “The relationship with him and his agent is extraordinary. He still has a year left on his contract, we’ll see each other after the transfer market. There’s still time to sort things out and move forward in the best possible way.”
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal could use that situation to their advantage to help seal a transfer.

Arsenal book semi-final place for EFL Cup
Arsenal have managed to book a place in the semi-final of the EFL Cup, following on from a win against Crystal Palace.
A Gabriel Jesus hat-trick was enough to seal victory at the Emirates Stadium, where the Eagles posed problems for the home side.
The Gunners will now be in the final four of the competition, with the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle already through and one of Manchester United or Tottenham also involved.
The semi-final draw will take place the following day, with all the teams looking to land an early trophy this season.
