Arsenal travel to Molineux looking to secure three points that will help keep pace at the top of the Premier League.

Myles Lewis-Skelly and William Saliba are injury doubts for Arsenal but the Gunners will be boosted by the return of Ethan Nwaneri in the Champions League to add to Mikel Arteta’s options in attack.

Arteta heaped praise on attacking duo Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard ahead of the clash with Wolves and will be hoping the pair can continue their good recent form.

Arsenal will be coming up against transfer target Matheus Cunha in the game but another returning Wolves star could hold the key as to how difficult the afternoon will be.

Toti Gomes returns to the Wolves squad against Arsenal following injury

According to the official Wolves website, manager Vitor Pereira has been given a fitness boost for the game against the Gunners with the return of influential defender Toti Gomes following injury.

The Portuguese international has missed Wolves last four matches with a hamstring strain but is set to return to the squad to bolster their leaky defence in his absence.

Toti has played a key role for Wolves this season having made 17 appearances across all competitions and made one assist in that time.

He is known for his no-nonsense defending and is a physical presence in both boxes. Should he play, Kai Havertz will need to ensure he is ready for the physical battle that no doubt lies ahead with Toti.

Vitor Pereira believes Wolves must show ‘tactical maturity’ to beat Arsenal

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Wolves v Arsenal, Vitor Pereira has been discussing the challenge of facing Arsenal and what his side must do in order to take the three points.

Pereira stated: “Against Arsenal we must show tactical maturity, because they are strong, for sure. But I have confidence in my players. I have confidence in our work. We are working to improve our game. We don’t have a lot of time to do it, but we are trying to do this.”

The Wolves boss also spoke about how he wants his side to focus on themselves during the match, he stated: “They are a strong team, but we need to look at ourselves. In the last game, I felt we didn’t have the intention to play our game. This is what I don’t want to see again, because I want my players to have the confidence to try to play based on our principles.”

Arsenal beat Wolves 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on the opening day of the season but will know that they will need to be at their best to secure a vital three points at Molineux.
