Bukayo Saka was once again on the scoresheet as Arsenal recorded a 3-0 Premier League victory against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Bukayo Saka put the Gunners ahead in the first half with a spectacular effort.
The recent International break clearly served the Hale End academy graduate well. Saka withdrew from the England squad, and spent the period in North London regaining his fitness.
Saka stunned Arsenal fans with his goal against Nottingham Forest, and Mikel Arteta will be hoping that the winger is now firmly back to his best in terms of form and fitness.
If the Gunners are to kick on from here and mount a serious title challenge then they will need Saka fit and firing on all cylinders.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka eclipses Cesc Fabregas
Saka is now a talismanic figure at the Emirates Stadium. Having come through the club’s academy, and established himself as a regular in the first team whilst still a teenager, he has now made himself a bona fide star.
The 23-year-old is one of the greatest academy success stories in the club’s history, and his record at the club compares favourably with the standard set by Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish midfielder came into the Arsenal first team in 2004, whilst Arsene Wenger was still at the helm for the club. He went on to make 303 appearances for the Gunners, across all competitions, and became club captain before moving to Barcelona, before returning to the Premier League with Chelsea.
Across his spells with Arsenal and Chelsea, Fabregas scored 50 Premier League goals, in 350 top flight outings.
Saka has now racked up 51 Premier League goals in just 181 appearances, surpassing Fabregas’ tally.
Meanwhile, with his goal against Nottingham Forest, Ethan Nwaneri became Arsenal’s youngest Premier League goalscorer since Fabregas.
Bukayo Saka’s career record
Saka’s numbers, especially given his age, are extraordinary. The England international is the most productive attacker in Arteta’s squad.
| Bukayo Saka’s career record | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Premier League | 181 | 51 | 43 |
| FA Cup | 11 | 1 | 1 |
| EFL Cup | 11 | 1 | 1 |
| Community Shield | 2 | 0 | 2 |
| Europa League | 25 | 5 | 7 |
| Champions League | 12 | 5 | 4 |
| Total | 246 | 63 | 58 |
Saka has been called world-class in the past, and is very much living up to that label.
It is now vital that he is surrounded by the quality that he needs at Arsenal to achieve the silverware that his talent deserves.
