Next up for Arsenal come Liverpool, who visit the Emirates on matchday 21 in search of a win.
Arne Slot’s side have won one of their previous three Premier League matches, most recently dropping points against Fulham.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have responded to their defeat to Aston Villa as Mikel Arteta would’ve hoped, winning their last seven games in all competitions.
On Thursday night, the Gunners host Liverpool, a match that Curtis Jones just previewed following the Reds’ draw at Craven Cottage.
After seeing Liverpool’s set-piece record, I’m __% confident Arsenal will beat Arne Slot’s side.

Curtis Jones says Arsenal will seek revenge on Liverpool
In quotes relayed by Liverpool’s official website, Jones turned his attention to Arsenal.
“It’s a big one, but all games are big. And I’ve said already, especially now when we need all our points,” Jones said.
“Arsenal is a huge, huge game; they are on a great run, and obviously, they are top of the league.”
The midfielder then reminisced on the meeting between the two clubs earlier in the season.
On matchday three, Arsenal lost 1-0 to Liverpool on Merseyside, conceding late to a freak Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick to continue their dreary run of form at Anfield.

The result was a tough one to take, as Arteta was criticised for how he set up at Anfield, which has shaped how Jones and the Liverpool squad are thinking ahead of Thursday’s clash.
“Of course, the first game they played against us, we obviously won, so they’ll be trying to get revenge on us,” he claimed.
“We’re going there with our heads high, and we’ll go and try to win.”
Jones fully expects the Arsenal squad to be plotting revenge behind the scenes, which is exactly what fans will want to see, though the need to win is greater than bragging rights.
Arsenal must rise to Paul Scholes’ challenge and beat Liverpool
With a six-point lead over Manchester City, Arsenal need to beat Liverpool to earn another three points.
Three points will be the only motivation Arteta and his players need, though there are some external motivations too.
Jones named one, revenge, and Paul Scholes provided another.
Where do you stand on Paul Scholes’ comments, are they fair?
In December, Scholes said Arsenal won’t win the league if they don’t win big games, setting the Liverpool fixture up nicely.
“The thing with Arsenal, Arsenal can’t win a big game,” the Manchester United icon said.
The ball is in the Gunners’ court to leave the pundit red-faced and do what he believes they can’t.
As the severity of the Premier League title race grows week by week, all eyes are on how Arsenal will cope, starting with facing a big six rival at home.
