David Seaman has now given his verdict on one Arsenal star.
A number of Arsenal players have impressed so far this season.
Gabriel Martinelli has improved in Martin Odegaard’s absence, whilst Gabriel Magalhaes has made an impact at both ends of the pitch.
Bukayo Saka has made a number of game-changing contributions, and Riccardo Calafiori has impressed Arsenal fans.
Kai Havertz has arguably been the pick of Mikel Arteta’s players so far this season, though. The German striker has been in remarkable form.
Havertz even equalled a Robin van Persie record with his strike last time out, as he made it seven goalscoring appearances at the Emirates Stadium on the bounce.
The 25-year-old is now firmly established as the North London club’s first choice to lead the line, and appears to be full of confidence.

Arsenal icon David Seaman highlights Kai Havertz change
Legendary former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has spotted a development in the former Chelsea man’s game.
Speaking on his Seaman Says podcast, he observed: “He has confidence now. He is doing a lot of finishes. Aerially, he’s a nuisance. He gets in there, he’s beating goalkeepers to the ball. You look at the Champions League game, went up with Donnarumma, beat him.”
Havertz has caught the eye with his movement this season, and made an intelligent run to score against PSG in the Champions League, as referred to by Seaman.
The pressure is now on Havertz to maintain his current form and keep delivering for the Gunners.
Arsenal concern over Havertz injury
Havertz will not feature for Germany in the current international break, having withdrawn from injury due a knee injury.
Whilst he is not expected to be sidelined for long, and should be fit to represent the Gunners once they are back in action, Havertz has been carrying this issue since Euro 2024.
This will raise concerns within the club that his minutes perhaps need to managed carefully to prevent the problem becoming more serious in future.
