Declan Rice has now praised one player who has previously been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of strikers in recent months.
Kai Havertz has done a magnificent job of leading the line so far this season. However, there will be a concern that Mikel Arteta’s squad lacks reliable alternative striker options.
Havertz is currently carrying a knee injury, and whilst it is not thought to be a serious issue, the German will still need to be managed carefully.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus has endured a difficult start to the season and has been in poor form for some time.
Jesus has been criticised by Arsenal fans recently, and few would trust him to step up and deliver on a consistent basis were Havertz to be sidelined for a significant period.
Leandro Trossard can also lead the line if required, but is preferred on the left flank.

Arsenal star Declan Rice talks up Ollie Watkins
Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins is one striker who has been linked with Arsenal in the past.
The 28-year-old earned his 17th England cap recently, as a substitute in the Three Lions’ win over Finland.
Declan Rice got on the scoresheet for his country in that match, and appreciated the impact Watkins had off the bench.
Speaking to ITV, the midfielder said that the Aston Villa man did “really well” and offered the team “something different.”
What Watkins could bring to Arsenal
Whilst Aston Villa would be reluctant to part with their star striker, Watkins would be an exciting addition to Arteta’s squad, and would seriously compete with Havertz for a starting role at the top of the pitch.
Meanwhile, Watkins is also thought to be an Arsenal fan, which may make convincing him to make the switch to North London easier.
The striker would offer intelligent movement, an impressive work rate and willingness to press, as well as clinical finishing.
However, given the fee that Aston Villa would demand for Watkins, it is hard to imagine the Gunners striking a deal for his services.
