Declan Rice is one of the biggest reasons why Arsenal won the Premier League title.

The Englishman joined the Gunners in a club record £105 million deal in 2023, and since then, he has barely put a foot wrong in the famous red and white.

Arsenal fans absolutely love Rice, and they showed that by naming him as the club’s Player of the Season following the 2025/26 campaign.

By doing so, he has joined a small yet elite group.

If Declan Rice was worth £105m in 2023, what would his value be in 2026?

Declan Rice wins back-to-back Player of the Season awards at Arsenal

Arsenal have had many iconic players play for them over the years.

Everyone remembers the likes of Ian Wright, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, but there were legends before them as well.

However, only five players managed to win back-to-back Player of the Season awards in the club’s entire existence.

Those players are Liam Brady (1978, 1979), Wright (1992, 1993), Henry (2003, 2004 & 2005), Bukayo Saka (2021, 2022) and Martin Odegaard (2023, 2024).

Now, Declan Rice has just joined that list after receiving his second Player of the Season award in as many seasons.

That is a truly incredible achievement and highlights just how integral he has been for Mikel Arteta’s side over the last two campaigns.

Declan Rice could win the Player of the Season award in 2026/27

Rice will continue to be one of Arsenal’s most important players.

The 27-year-old will enter his fourth year as a Gunner when the new season begins, and if Arteta’s men are to retain their Premier League title, he will be key.

If that happens, we won’t be surprised at all if Rice ends up winning the Player of the Season award again – for the third season in a row.

Only Henry has managed to do that in Arsenal’s history, which shows just how difficult it is to achieve it.

If anyone can do it, it’s Rice, and we really believe he will next season.
