Arsenal are targeting Eberechi Eze this summer, a transfer that could make all involved very happy.
Arsenal are eyeing a move for Eze to bolster Mikel Arteta’s attack in preparation for the 2025/26 campaign.
Following reports, David Ornstein confirmed the interest, exciting fans by stating that links to Eze come separately to moves for a winger and a striker.
Andrea Berta is getting work done to strengthen the Gunners’ front line after years of shortcomings, with the England international the latest to make the fold.

Eberechi Eze fell in love with football thanks to Arsenal
While supporters are delighted by the links, some Arsenal fans are concerned about where Arteta would play Eze, as the Crystal Palace dynamo would be wasted as a winger.
For now, discussions will continue over whether a move is feasible, with The Athletic reporting that Arsenal aim to pay less than the forward’s release clause, which is north of £60m.
Eze is loved at Palace and has been a loyal servant at Selhurst Park, but if there’s one club that could turn the Englishman’s head, it’s Arsenal.
Speaking to BBC Football Focus [aired 15th October 2022], Eze was asked about a game that made him ‘fall in love with football’ as a child.
“Arsenal game when I was younger, when they were away in the maroon kit. Henry was playing. Van Persie as well.
“I was like this is what I want to be doing. This is where I want to be. Just seeing the energy in that place, it was just everything.”
Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie made plenty of Arsenal fans fall in love with the beautiful game, including Eze, who could now follow in their footsteps.
Signing Eze would be a statement for Arsenal
Being a Londoner, Eze has been attracted to Arsenal for as long as he can remember, making a possible transfer something of a dream for the 27-year-old.
It would be a magical move for the player, but even more so for the Gunners, who could get their hands on a Premier League star who’s very much in his prime.
Arsenal have dealt with Premier League rivals during Arteta’s reign, but it could be said that the Gunners have only secured a deal for one player who has arrived in searing form.
Declan Rice’s £105m transfer from West Ham broke the Hammers’ hearts but filled Arteta’s and now, the Arsenal manager could feel a similar emotion by stealing Eze from Palace.
The versatile forward contributed to 16 goals for Palace in the Premier League last season, being Oliver Glasner’s leading light in a history-making campaign for the Eagles.
