Arsenal are set to secure what could be described as their most exciting signing of the summer.

Indeed, Eberechi Eze is set to sign for Arsenal, and this deal has been done in the most brilliant of fashions.

At one point, it looked like Tottenham would sign Eberechi Eze, but the attacker has picked Arsenal over Spurs much to the delight of Gunners fans and, of course, Mikel Arteta.

Eze has also done something else that Mikel Arteta will love this summer, and it doesn’t even have anything to do with Tottenham.

Eberechi Eze has shown a top-class attitude

Eze has been at the centre of transfer speculation all summer long, but throughout this period, he’s been a consummate professional.

The England international has stayed quiet, he’s trained as normal with Crystal Palace, he played in the opening game in the Premier League, and he’s even set to play his final game for Palace before joining Arsenal.

Make no mistake about it, Mikel Arteta will absolutely love this side of Eze’s personality.

Arteta really values professionalism in a player. After all, he released Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his lack of professionalism, and he decided against signing Ivan Toney due to his attitude.

Eze has demonstrated a top class attitude and an incredible level of professionalism at Palace this summer, and Arteta will surely love that.

Bukayo Saka’s past comments on Eberechi Eze in training

Eze is clearly a very professional and committed player, and he’s shown that previously in England training too.

Indeed, Eze has even wowed Bukayo Saka in England training before.

Speaking to TalkSPORT last year, the winger said Eze really impressed him in England training.

“In training, I would say probably Ebs, you know – Ebere Eze. He has been class in training. He has impressed me the most, I would say,” said Saka.

Now, Saka and Eze will be teammates at club level, and they could strike up a brilliant partnership at the Emirates next season.
