Ethan Nwaneri set for Arsenal change upon return from England duty

Nwaneri celebrates his 18th birthday on March 21st and that personal milestone will mean that his everyday life at Arsenal can now change.

The Hale End graduate has been unable to join the Arsenal first-team squad’s dressing room thus far in his career due to safeguarding rules.

Upon turning 18 that has now changed and upon return to the Arsenal training ground and future matches at the Emirates Stadium, Nwaneri will be in amongst his team mates.

The dressing room is a sacred place for footballers and often morale can be lifted with simple conversations and team-building behind closed doors.

Nwaneri’s break through season at Arsenal

Alan Smith urged Arteta not to hold Nwaneri back earlier on in the season and it soon became clear that the youngster was ready to explode onto the scene in senior football.

Nwaneri credited Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard as figures who helped his acclimatise to the jump from youth football whilst Raheem Sterling has also been a mentor for the young winger.
