That’s due to his longer campaign, with other Premier League clubs allowing those who competed in summer competitions to have an extended break, and Nwaneri is likely to follow.
Nwaneri is likely to be back in time for Arsenal’s pre-season tour of Asia, which starts with a match against AC Milan on July 23.
If he is to make a late start, that could be a slight problem in terms of landing his place in Mikel Arteta’s team for next season.
