Arsenal players are just a few days away from returning to London Colney for pre-season, as preparation for the 2025/26 season gets underway.
The Gunners have been out of action for nearly six weeks now, following the end of the Premier League campaign.
Much of that time has been spent reflecting, as Arsenal finished second for a third time in a row, something Mikel Arteta will be looking to remedy.
With the Premier League fixtures now revealed, the North London club can start to plot their course towards the finish line next May.
With that in mind, there’s been a new change to pre-season plans for Arsenal, which could be a genius move.

Arsenal set for warm-weather training camp during pre-season before Asia tour
Arsenal’s pre-season plans are largely put together now, with the side taking off to Asia for a tour that will include some big matches.
The likes of AC Milan, Newcastle and Tottenham in the North London Derby await, but won’t be the only part of pre-season planned out.
There is the Emirates Cup for Arsenal to consider as well, which is often the final match of the summer at the Emirates Stadium, before the season gets underway.
Even before all of that starts, though, it seems as though the Gunners are planning for another trip in mind.
According to journalist Tom Canton, Arsenal are set for another warm-weather training camp during pre-season, before they even make the journey to Asia for their tour.
Mikel Arteta has made use of warm-weather trips in the past to help get his players rested and ready for challenges ahead.
For two seasons on the bounce, Arsenal have travelled to Dubai to get the players in the mindset to find their top form again.
That worked the first time around in 2024, while 2025 had some mixed success.
Given the tough start to the season, it could be the perfect moment needed for the players to get ready for the upcoming campaign.

Warm-weather camp will be perfect for new Arsenal signings joining the group
While pre-season is about regaining that fitness and match sharpness in time for the start of the season, there are other elements to consider too.
Relationships between players can often be formed at this stage, especially if they are new to the club, which will be important for Arsenal.
The Gunners are closing in on several signings, as Kepa Arrizabalaga has already joined on a three-year deal from Chelsea.
Martin Zubimendi is expected to follow him to Arsenal, while a move for Christian Norgaard is accelerating towards a conclusion.
As it stands, there is also work ongoing for a striker, a winger, a defender and perhaps a number ten as well, outlining just how busy it is.
With so many potential incoming players by the time that pre-season starts, the trip to a warm-weather camp could be the perfect setting for these stars to fit in and build those early relationships.
That may well translate to the pitch and give Arsenal the quick start to the campaign that they crave.
