Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Ethan Nwaneri’s future, transfer exit and Thomas Partey verdict.
Arsenal working on Ethan Nwaneri contract
Ethan Nwaneri is one of the latest bright stars to come from the Arsenal academy, with plenty of promise for the future.
The young midfielder announced himself in the senior team when he made his debut for the Gunners against Brentford in September 2022 – becoming the youngest player in Premier League history at 15 years old.
The midfielder has been tipped for big things, having regularly taken part in first-team squad training, even featuring over the recent pre-season.
With one of the world’s brightest talents on their hands, Arsenal are looking at keeping him for the long-term.
With that in mind, Football Transfers reports that the Gunners have kickstarted talks with Nwaneri over a new contract.

The 17-year-old signed his first set of professional terms earlier this year, but the maximum length that could be offered is three years.
Once the youngster turns 18, that contract offer can be far longer, with the report claiming that a five-year deal is on the cards.
It shows just how much belief Mikel Arteta and his staff appear to have in the potential of Nwaneri, who will have a task of fulfilling that with his opportunities in the coming months and years.

Arsenal agree transfer exit
The Arsenal squad is overseeing plenty of changes over the summer transfer window, with deals that will shape the options available to Arteta this season.
The Gunners have already seen one academy star leave, as Emile Smith Rowe joined Fulham, while others seem set to follow just after.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the next exit at the Emirates Stadium is set to be that of young full-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy.
The 20-year-old is set to join Italian side Genoa, following on from four successive loan spells in a row.
In 2021/22, Norton-Cuffy joined League One outfit Lincoln City and made 17 appearances for the club in that time.
Three spells in the Championship saw the Hale End star play for Rotherham, Coventry and Millwall, moving from a promising youngster to a fully-fledged senior player.
However, with the pathway to the first team appearing tough, Norton-Cuffy seems set to continue his career away from North London.

Fans give verdict on Thomas Partey’s Arsenal future
There have been plenty of talks surrounding the future of the Arsenal midfield, with some discussion surrounding potential incomings and outgoings.
In terms of signings, Real Sociedad star Mikel Merino has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the summer.
Those discussions come as the Gunners face an uncertain future with a duo of Jorginho and Thomas Partey – who are both in the final year of their Arsenal contracts.
The pair are also past the peak years of their careers, leading to some big decisions that will have to be made this summer.

Performances this season could well dictate those choices, with Partey impressing in particular during pre-season.
The 31-year-old showed signs of his best form when he featured against Olympique Lyon in the final friendly of the summer.
That has led to plenty of Arsenal fans giving their verdict on the midfielder.
