Arsenal have scored some special goals this season.

The Gunners haven’t quite fulfilled their objectives this term. The aim was to win the Premier League and the Champions League, but they came up short in both competitions.

Despite that, the players have produced a number of exceptional moments that fans will not forget for many, many years.

Some Arsenal stars have now revealed their favourite goal from this season.

Ben White picks Riccardo Calafiori’s goal over Declan Rice’s free-kicks

When you think about memorable goals this season, Declan Rice’s stunning free-kick brace against Real Madrid is what comes to mind.

The clash against the Galacticos in the Champions League was arguably the biggest game of the Emirates Stadium era, and the Gunners stepped up massively.

Rice scored two stunning free-kicks, and for us, his second strike deserves the Goal of the Season award.

However, Ben White has claimed that Riccardo Calafiori’s goal against Manchester City at the Etihad is actually his favourite

The Italian curled a stunning left-footed shot past Ederson to level the game – it really was a superb goal.

“Yeah, Richy, the City goal,” White said. “That was top! I didn’t think he had it in him.”

Declan Rice and other Arsenal players pick their favourite goal

The same question was put to a few other Arsenal players, and there were some interesting responses

Neto and Jorginho, like us, picked Rice’s second goal against Real Madrid, while Mikel Merino chose his own header against Chelsea.

Kai Havertz picked Bukayo Saka’s strike against Liverpool in the Premier League as his favourite goal this season.

Rice wanted to pick his own goal against Real Madrid, but when asked for one scored by someone else, he went with Riccardo Calafiori’s strike against Manchester City.

He said: “Richy Calafiori, Man City. Back on the left foot, top bins, perfect!”

Calafiori, unsurprisingly, chose his own goal as well.
