Arsenal’s clean sheet record is humiliating their Premier League rivals

While Tottenham’s clash with Man City will attract attention from the Arsenal camp, it’s not only Pep Guardiola’s side who would’ve been wary of the Gunners’ big win at Elland Road.

That’s because the victory also put rivals Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs under the microscope.

By recording their 12th clean sheet of the season, Arsenal showed their dominance in a humiliating way for their rivals.

Arsenal have more clean sheets than United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs have wins in the Premier League this season, which is hilarious.

Tottenham are yet to hit double-figures for wins this term, while the other three just hit the 10-win milestone.

The Arsenal squad, with 16 wins, have experienced more clean sheets than those teams have celebrated victories, which sums up the Gunners’ dominance in a nutshell.

David Raya could obliterate his personal record

Clean sheets are Arsenal’s expertise, which is beneficial to David Raya, who is leading the way in the race for the Golden Glove.

Quite incredibly, the win over Leeds saw Raya move to within one clean sheet of his record from the entirety of last season.

With 14 games remaining, Raya could obliterate his personal best of 16 clean sheets in a single Premier League season, a record that would surely win Arsenal the title.

The all-time record stands at a phenomenal 24, which Raya could match if he were to only concede in two of his remaining matches.

Even for Arsenal’s standards, that’s highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
