England secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over The Netherlands to reach the Euro 2024 final, with Arsenal stars Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka in the starting XI.
Saka put in yet another sensational performance after his goal against Switzerland carried England to the semi-finals, but Rice struggled somewhat after he was dispossessed in the build-up to Xavi Simons’ opening goal.
Both Arsenal stars are expected to start the final, which will see Gareth Southgate’s team come up against an in-form Spain side, whilst goalkeeping pair David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale are likely to be on their side’s respective benches.
David Raya, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice will compete in Euro 2024 final
Arsenal will definitely have a player returning from Euro 2024 with a winners’ medal, as Raya will either win it with Spain, or the England trio will win it for the first time.
Ramsdale did not appear at the tournament, but is the backup for Jordan Pickford, and is still on standby in case he is required in the final.
Raya did appear once, as he performed well in Spain’s final group game victory over Georgia, but Athletic Bilbao star Unai Simon is the preferred choice for the National Team.
Rice has performed well over the course of the tournament despite his difficult night against the Netherlands, and he will hope to cap off an outstanding season with a historic Euros triumph.
Saka is one goal away from becoming the highest-ever England goalscorer to have played for Arsenal, and he is capable of producing the magic needed to hand his side a triumph over Spain.
No Arsenal player has won the Euros since 2008

History will definitely be made, as one or three of these four players will win the Euros as an Arsenal player, which no one has managed since Cesc Fabregas won with Spain in 2008.
Whilst Santi Cazorla and Jorginho have been named in the Team of the Tournament as winners before joining the club, no one has managed to win it whilst an active member of the Arsenal squad since Fabregas.
If Saka does win it, he will arguably cement his place as the best England player in Arsenal’s history. Whilst Tony Adams and David Seaman were important players for the National Team, neither won a trophy with England, and Saka has already played a vital role with his performances in the knockouts.
