Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a move away from Arsenal from almost the day he signed, it seems.
Despite being one of Mikel Arteta’s first major buys, the same old labels have been thrown at Jesus during his Arsenal career in that he doesn’t score enough goals and misses crucial chances in big moments.
Those two statements might both be true, but there is no doubting his contribution in general to the Mikel Arteta era so far.

Still, that talk of a potential exit continues to drag on in the background and as we know, Juventus are long-term admirers of Jesus.
Now, after recently changing to an Italian agency, talk is rife once more of Jesus moving to Serie A.
Whether Gabriel Jesus will leave Arsenal in January
For any title chasing team, the big worry in January is losing players who might not be getting the minutes they feel they need.
Mikel Arteta has this with a number of players and Gabriel Jesus is arguably one of them, despite playing regularly enough.

Nevertheless, according to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, as of right now, Jesus is going nowhere.
“Who knows, I don’t know whether this could become a transfer route that might eventually bring Gabriel Jesus to Italy in the future. This is obviously pure speculation, in the sense that these are conjectural thoughts,” Moretto said.
“But the news I want to focus on is that Gabriel Jesus is now represented by an Italian agency. We’ll see whether this changes anything in Gabriel Jesus’s future. Certainly not in January, given that Gabriel Jesus has said more than once that he wants to stay at Arsenal and finish this season wearing the Arsenal shirt for sure—so there’s no doubt about that.”
Can Arsenal afford to lose Gabriel Jesus?
The simple answer to this question right now is a resounding no.
To lose a player of Jesus’ quality and experience at such a crucial stage of the season could be catastrophic for the club.
However, there is also an element of do Arsenal cash in now for more money, allowing them to go bigger in the summer and move for recently linked Julian Alvarez?
Would you SELL Gabriel Jesus now if it meant getting Julian Alvarez in the summer?
Of course, this is all speculative and would be a tremendous risk from Arsenal at this stage.
But football can sometimes do weird and wonderful things and while Jesus himself might not want out, if big money comes calling, Arsenal might force his hand.
