Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has posted a positive injury update to fans on social media, six months on from first having surgery on a serious knee problem.
The Brazilian forward has been out of action for most of the calendar year, following an issue he picked up against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
It was later revealed that Gabriel Jesus had an ACL injury, which is a knee ligament issue that can keep players sidelined anywhere from nine months to one year.
The 28-year-old had surgery shortly after, working on getting him back to full fitness at Arsenal as soon as possible.
Now he is most of the way through his rehabilitation, and there are real signs of progress for Gabriel Jesus ahead of a potential return.

Gabriel Jesus posts latest injury update on social media
Gabriel Jesus is now six months into his recovery from the ACL injury he suffered in January, ramping up his rehabilitation for a potential return.
It has been a long road to this point for the Brazilian, who had to spend the first few months on crutches, simply resting up and waiting for his knee to recover.
Once that stage had passed, Jesus began doing exercises to help strengthen his knee to get it ready for next season.
In his latest post on Instagram, the star showed a video of his latest rounds of exercises with a positive message to go along with it.
He said: “It’s been 6 months since the surgery, it’s great to be able to move around like this again. #loading.”
For Jesus, it may well be the beginning of his full return to fitness, with an expectation that he could be back in action sooner rather than later.

Gabriel Jesus return could be key to his future at Arsenal
Gabriel Jesus raised the standards at Arsenal upon joining from Manchester City.
His quick start to life at the Emirates Stadium showed the Brazilian at his very best, combining tricks and physicality to get the most out of those around him.
Recent seasons have seen that influence fade a bit as new players take the role of leading the team onwards.
With just two years remaining on his contract, Jesus faces an important year ahead in regards to his future.
The 28-year-old will face fresh competition in the centre-forward ranks, while he could find more regular opportunities on the wing instead.
With that dwindling deal and the players ahead of him in the pecking order, the return to fitness and the season ahead for Jesus will dictate whether he stays at Arsenal or faces an exit.
