Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli’s speed is one of his biggest assets.
The Brazil international is absolutely rapid, and when he is put through on goal, it’s almost impossible to stop him – just ask Real Madrid fans who were at the Santiago Bernabeu last season.
Many Arsenal players have claimed that Martinelli is the fastest player at the club, and that has never been disputed before.
However, the former Ituano man has admitted that he is no longer the quickest player at Arsenal. Noni Madueke holds that title now.
Who was the last player Arsenal had who was as exciting as Noni Madueke?
Gabriel Martinelli says Arsenal star Noni Madueke is faster than him
Arsenal signed Madueke from Chelsea in the summer.
The England international wasn’t many people’s first choice, but Mikel Arteta put all his faith in him, and that has proved to be the right decision.
Madueke has proved many people wrong since joining Arsenal, and he is adored by the fans at the Emirates Stadium now.
What stands out about the 23-year-old is his dribbling skills. He brings the supporters to their feet every time he receives the ball out wide.

However, what many people don’t talk about is his speed.
Eberechi Eze named Madueke as the fastest player at Arsenal after he joined, and now, Gabriel Martinelli seems to agree.
When asked who is faster between himself and Madueke, Martinelli told Arsenal’s media team: “I’d say Noni. Yeah, he’s faster.”

Who is Arsenal’s fastest player right now – Gabriel Martinelli or Noni Madueke?
Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke have the same problems at Arsenal
On their day, both Martinelli and Madueke are unplayable.
The two players are rapid, are brilliant dribblers and have shown that they can score fantastic goals for Arsenal.
However, the wingers share the same problems.
Neither Madueke nor Martinelli are consistent, their decision-making in the final third often lets them down, and their end product is nowhere near where it should be for the quality they possess.
If either player wants to succeed in the Premier League and Champions League at Arsenal, they will need to improve in the above-mentioned areas in the coming months.
