Gary Neville had a lot to say after Arsenal recorded their fourth consecutive Premier League win.

Neville has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League, standing behind the Gunners for the third season in a row.

Mikel Arteta will hope that the pundit’s support doesn’t bring bad luck, as Arsenal have finished as runners-up since the 2022/23 campaign.

Despite having played only nine games, something looks different about the North Londoners this season, something that has only strengthened Neville’s belief.

Gary Neville is so confident that Arsenal will win the Premier League

It’s not easy to win the Premier League; however, with eight medals in his collection, Neville might not agree.

When speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast after Arsenal’s win over Crystal Palace, the former Manchester United defender shared his opinion on the Gunners, referencing his experiences as a player.

“Keep doing what you do, and you will win this league. It’s yours to win,” Neville said, going on to describe his own words as ‘madness’.

“I’m not saying it’s yours to lose. That would be a play. It’s yours to win. This is your title, Arsenal, and I’ve never really felt that sure before, and it’s so early in the season.

“It’s madness for someone with the experience that I’ve got of winning titles to say that it’s yours to win at this stage, but it really is.”

After what unfolded on matchday nine in the Premier League, Neville’s passion on the subject is justifiable to a degree, as Manchester City and Liverpool lost while Arsenal won.

The Man United icon doubled down on his opinion, stating that his words aren’t a source of pressure, but more of an echo of what the Arsenal squad must be thinking.

“Honestly, and that’s not being overconfident for them. It’s not placing undue pressure on them. They must feel it themselves.”

There is a lot of belief in the Arsenal dressing room right now, but the players won’t want to get carried away, particularly with some huge challenges coming up.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City’s next five Premier League games

Sitting at the top of the table brings immense pressure, which is one reason why Jamie Carragher doesn’t think Arsenal will win the league.

All the Gunners can do is keep on winning, but the intensity of the fixtures is only set to rise as we head towards the festive period.

In their next five Premier League games, Arsenal face visits to Burnley, Sunderland and Chelsea as well as welcoming Brentford and North London rivals, Tottenham.

The fixture list is intimidating for fans, but when looking at who title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool face, anxiety is relieved slightly.

Arsenal’s two rivals face each other on matchday 11, which will undoubtedly draw attention from those in N5.

It’s set to be a thrilling season, with the only demand of Arsenal being to keep doing what they’re doing.
