Arsenal’s potential signing of Vinicius Jr would be massive for the Gunners but it’s fair to say it would impact Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners have already signed Christos Tzolis this summer and Martinelli had already been earmarked as a potential sale this summer.
Now, with Vinicius Jr on Arsenal’s radar as well, Martinelli could well be getting the message that his time at the club might be up.
However, while from an Arsenal side of things, the club are happy to sell for the right price, when it comes to Martinelli, there appears to be no rush.

Gabi Martinelli has played a key role for Arsenal in the last few seasons and despite not always being a regular starter, he has contributed a lot.
With Leandro Trossard moved on already, Martinelli will have been hoping to make the left-wing spot his own.
However, the signing of Tzolis plus Arsenal’s pursuit of another wide player means he faces question marks over his future.
Nevertheless, according to the BBC, Martinelli is not actually in any rush to move away from The Emirates.
It’s claimed that while there is an acceptance that Vinicius signing would bump him down the pecking order, Martinelli will only consider a move away from the club if he feels the move makes sense for him.
That’s likely to centre around on if he’ll be guaranteed a starter at any new club, while from Arsenal’s standpoint, they’ll want a fee that they see as fair.

Arsenal feel they can bring in around £45m for Martinelli. Clearly, the hope is to secure such funds and use that towards doing the deal for Vinicius.
The Real Madrid man is expected to be offered the highest wage in club history if he does sign. He currently earns around £500,000-a-week in Spain.
Martinelli, meanwhile, would free up around £120,000-a-week in wages should he leave.
