Micah Richards has been discussing the Premier League title race following Arsenal’s draw at Sunderland and Man City beating Liverpool.
Over the weekend, Arsenal’s gap at the top of the Premier League was reduced to five points after Man City defeated Liverpool 3-0.

Mikel Arteta was left feeling sick after Arsenal’s late draw at Sunderland, as the team conceded a late equaliser at the Stadium of Light.
Following the dramatic weekend of Premier League action, Micah Richards has been discussing the title race and how he thinks it could play out.

Micah Richards backs Man City’s title chances for key reason
Richards is still backing Manchester City’s chances in the Premier League title race, given the experience and current form of Pep Guardiola’s players.
The former Premier League defender was thinking Arsenal could run away with it, but Erling Haaland’s display seems to have changed his mind.
Meanwhile, Guardiola’s confidence appears to be growing, after he admitted City’s 3-0 win shows they can keep pace with the Gunners.
Speaking about the Premier League title race, Gary Lineker told The Rest Is Football: “It’s hard to predict anything this season, even if you go back to yesterday, Sunderland took two points off Arsenal, so if you look at it now, Man City, after this stuttering start to the season, they’re four points off.”
To which Richards replied: “Yeah, it’s hard to decide really (title favourites), because you’re thinking with Arsenal, they’re just going to run away with it, and Man City have just done their business quietly.
“You’re thinking, OK, Haaland’s in really good form. Donnarumma has brought a little bit of solidity at the back. But are they the same Man City as previous seasons? No, they’re not.
If you look at Man City’s last three games, they’ve had the same or less possession. They’re allowing teams to have the ball more, which is loads of space for Haaland, and exactly what happened today.
“Van Dijk and Konate usually get the better of him, but Haaland did really well and I think City are now looking at them because of their experience and the form of their players, they’ve got a really good chance now.”
Elsewhere, Wayne Rooney thinks Arsenal will be nervous about City now that the gap has been closed to four points following the weekend’s action.
Jeremy Doku could be the new threat to Arsenal’s title bid
Doku, who Thierry Henry has advised, looked outstanding at the Etihad Stadium, and he could be the new threat to Arsenal’s Premier League title bid this season.
The Belgian winger has always looked like a talented player, but against Liverpool, he proved that he can add end product to his game.
In the opening stages of the season, it’s clear City have become reliant on Haaland’s goals, so Guardiola must find a solution to counter this.
Like with Arsenal currently, should the injuries start to pile up for the former Premier League champions, they will need others to step up, and that could be Doku.
